Peanuts: Peanut Inoculant

PRIMO

Developed to maximize production, PRIMO is a dual action liquid inoculant intended to be applied in-furrow at the time of planting. PRIMO contains the highest guaranteed rhizobium counts in the industry with the latest USDA selected strains for optimum performance in the field under adverse conditions. PRIMO also contains a unique biological growth promoter (Azospirillium brasilense) which produces indole acetic acid (IAA) in the root zone. The introduction of IAA into the root zone initiates primary root development as well as a boosting the addition of secondary roots and root hair formation. By enhancing the root structure, the technology behind PRIMO drives seedling vigor, stand counts, and disease resistance by creating a healthier root system and ultimately a more invigorated plant. By creating a larger root mass, the plant is able to increase water, mineral, and nutrient uptake, as well as increasing nodulation for optimum nitrogen fixing capability for the seedling. In addition to a healthier plant, an enhanced root system presents more opportunity for pod set and ultimately higher yields. Therefore, PRIMO generates a healthier plant right from the start, thus enabling peanut seed to reach its full genetic potential to maximize yield.
